For the 2022-2024 alignment,
we are in the TMEA/UIL Region 26. For the 2024-2026 UIL 3D Division II realignment we are in
Region 4, District 13. We provide a wide range of fine art experiences for our students. The
band program has a history of sweepstakes and competitive entries in events across all
categories: marching contest, Solo & Ensemble, Concert & Sightreading, ATSSB and festivals.
Expectations beyond the classroom for this position include: pep rallies, Friday night stand and
halftime shows, marching contests, clinics, festivals, Veterans Day program(s), community
events, community pep rallies, and parades. This person should be able to, with the assistant
band director, manage a comprehensive 6-12 program that includes a variety of opportunities
for students, recruitment strategies, community outreach and performances.
