Rules and Procedures for Proximity Learning, Inc. Scholarship

  1. The Basic Data Sheet accompanied by a one page letter to the committee, whereby the applicant indicates why they have chosen their career goal and how the scholarship will help them attain that goal, should be submitted in the TACS office in Austin, Texas through the online application form with a postmark no later than April 1, 2020.  (No Faxes/Emails/Scans Accepted).  Send Basic Data Sheet, one page letter  to TACS office, 1011 San Jacinto Blvd., Ste. 204, Austin, Texas 78701.

  2. If selected as a recipient, the student will need to email a picture of themselves to TACS, as well as sending a photo of you receiving the award.

  3. Applicant shall confine their responses to the space available on the Basic Data Sheet.

  4. In order to be eligible for the Proximity Learning, Inc. Scholarship, the applicant must be a graduating senior attending any Texas university.

  5. All entries received by the deadline will be forwarded to the TACS Scholarship Committee. 

  6. The TACS Scholarship Committee will screen all applicants and select a recipient and a runner-up.

  7. If for some reason the awardees cannot fulfill the obligation; the scholarship will be awarded to the runner-up.  

  8. The winning student will be presented a scholarship certificate at their school.

  9. The TACS Scholarship Committee will announce the selection by April 30, 2020.

  10. The selected student must provide TACS with college enrollment veification no later than September 1, 2020.

  11. The scholarship check will be sent to the student’s college in their name.
